In the last 7 years we have seen the bombs and bullets of a imperialist military occupation devastate Iraq and Afghanistan. These two countries, occupied by the US, UK, Canada, and NATO, are on either side of the US government’s next target – Iran.
The US led campaign against Iran is escalating on every front, through propaganda, military build-up, and in an act of war itself, sanctions. In addition to sanctions against Iran from the US, the United Nations has 3 sets of sanctions against Iran, and the European Union has also joined in the campaign against Iran with another set of sanctions. These sanctions are an attempt the weaken Iran’s people and economy in preparation for an attack.
As peace-loving people, we cannot stand by while the US government prepares for a massacre of the people of Iran through massive bombing or even invasion and occupation. Join us for this forum to discuss what is behind the US aggressions towards Iran, and what we can do to counter it.
